The Federated Garden Clubs of Macon, Inc., organized in 1934, is a non-profit council of garden clubs whose purpose is to promote civic beautification, gardening education, and environmental conservation. The Federation also preserves the former home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph N. Neel, Sr., designed in 1910 by Georgia's famed architect, Neel Reid, as its headquarters for meetings and programs.

Located at 730 College Street, the Federated Garden Center is available for rental for weddings, receptions, parties, and other special events. The house is also available for special tours for a nominal fee by appointment. Our Gift Shop offers unique gifts at bargain prices.

FGC Macon is a member of the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. and the National Council of Garden Clubs, Inc. For information on business hours and programs or membership in a garden club, please contact us at 478-742-0921 or email.
